Hempfield Track & Field had been around since 1960 - over 50 years! In that time, many exciting memories have been shared by the athletes, coaches, parents, and tarck & field fans!
The goal of this blog is to look past, present, & future of Hempfield Track & Field! Now that I am retired from coaching, I hope to continue to support the program!! Let's begin with a look at the past!
It is the right time for Hempfield Track and Field to have a blog. With the great interest in the team and the large number of alumni, there should be plenty of interest in seeing who makes the Honor Roll and who gets added to the list of champions. It will also provide a schedule so that alumni can mark their calendar for the big McCaskey meet or senior night in the stadium. It is time.
