Hempfield Places Athletes In The 2014 Indoor Track & Field Meet

The results are in!  Three Hempfield athletes placed at Indoor States!  Check out the top 8 in all events:

PennLive Results for State Indoor High School Track & Field Meet

Tory Long placed 8th in the 60 meter dash!  The sprint events are always very difficult to earn a place each year in the state competition!  His time of 7.07 looks like it might eclipse the school record held by Justin Kiscadden (2002).  Great job Tory!

Devon Santos placed 7th in the 60 Hurdles in 8.19!  This also looks like a school record!  It replaces Kori Meshaw another GREAT Hempfield hurdler!!  Devon is in great position to have an incredible senior year!

And the rookie, Steph Laudien, a FRESHMAN!!  What a rookie season!  Steph placed 8th in the Long Jump with a jump of 17'2" and 4th in the Triple Jump with a 36'4 inch leap!  And both jumps seem to shatter the indoor records held by Spencer Nendza (2010)!  What a great future and look out Lancaster-Lebanon League!!!
